World Land Trust

Starting now, student council and Mrs. Lynch’s ELA class along with Team 7A at Marshall

Simonds Middle School are having a fundraiser for the slowly disappearing rainforest. We

are working together to buy an acre of the rainforest by collecting your bottles and cans, your

refunds or even donations; an acre costs $135.05. World Land Trust is the organization making

this possible; you can check out the website at

Once this happens nobody can chop down the trees which will help to protect the animals from

losing their homes. Just reach into your recycle bins and share your bottles and cans for a good

cause. Remember, this is a good cause if you choose to donate. You will be saving lives too.

We will be collecting until February 14, 2014. Thank you.
